Return and Refund Policy

Overview

At Al Hareth Optics, we are committed to providing high-quality eyewear and ensuring customer satisfaction. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, our return and refund policy is designed to be simple, transparent, and customer-friendly—no matter where you're shopping from: Kuwait, the USA, Europe, or the Gulf countries.


Return and Exchange Eligibility

  • Exchanges: Items may be exchanged within 1 to 7 days, depending on your location, from the date of the purchase invoice. Items must be unused, in original condition, and accompanied by the original invoice.

  • Refunds: Items may be refunded within:

    • 24 hours in Kuwait,

    • 3 days in the Gulf region,

    • 7 days in the USA and Europe,
      provided the items are unused, in original condition, and accompanied by the original invoice.


Return Conditions

  • All returned items must be unused and in their original packaging and condition.

  • Opened contact lenses are non-refundable.

  • The value of prescription lenses for medical frames will be deducted if the product is returned.

  • Purchase vouchers are not exchangeable for cash.


Refund Process

  • Credit/Debit Card Payments: Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method:

    • In Kuwait and Gulf countries: within 4 working days, with applicable bank commission deducted.

    • In the USA and Europe: within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or credit card provider’s processing time.

  • Inspection: Once your return is received, it will be inspected, and we’ll notify you of approval or rejection.

  • Refund Approval: Upon approval, your refund will be issued within 10 business days.


How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  • Contact Us: Email us at info@alharethoptics.com to begin the return or exchange process.

  • Return Address: Once your return is approved, we will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions, including the appropriate return address based on your region.


Damaged or Incorrect Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue promptly.


Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Custom or personalized products (e.g., special orders)

  • Personal care goods (e.g., beauty or hygiene products)

  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

  • Sale items and gift cards


Product-Specific Conditions

  • Contact Lenses: Must be unopened, unused, and in original packaging.

  • Sunglasses, Blue Light Frames, Reading Glasses: Must be free from scratches, damage, or signs of wear.

  • Prescription Eyeglasses: Return in-store within 3 days if needed. Note: Progressive lenses may take 2–3 weeks for full adjustment.

  • Non-Refundable: Ophthalmic/prescription lenses, coating add-ons, and glazing services.


Shipping Costs

  • Kuwait:

    • Free delivery for orders over 12 KD.

    • 2 KD shipping fee for orders below 12 KD.

  • Gulf, USA, and Europe:

    • Shipping fees are based on the destination and courier rates. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect.
